Geologist/Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist (Seattle, WA)
Kane Environmental, Inc. is currently seeking a Geologist/Hydrogeologist or Environmental Scientist for our Seattle office. Kane Environmental, Inc. is an environmental consulting company headquartered in Seattle, WA. This position requires a minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Geoscience, or related scientific/engineering field and 0-3 years of experience. The position includes completing ASTM Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Phase II ESA conducting fieldwork (sampling soil, soil vapor, indoor air, and groundwater), and other environmental project work.
Responsibilities include performing technical tasks including:
Very important that candidate possesses proven strong organizational abilities, excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency with current MS Office products is required.
Valid Driver License and ability to travel <10% annually.
Competitive salary is commensurate with experience. Salary range $50,000 to $60,000 plus benefits. - Property historical research and regulatory records searches
- Fieldwork for soil and groundwater sampling and other media
- Creating analytical tables
- Creating figures using AutoCad LT
- Phase I and Phase II ESA report writing
