Kane Environmental Presenting on Combined Remedial Technologies at the 2022 Chlorinated Conference

Kane Environmental is excited to attend the 12th International Conference of Remediation of Chlorinated & Recalcitrant Compounds organized and presented by Battelle on May 22 – 26, 2002 in Palm Springs, California. This conference is a gathering of the environmental remediation community to discuss innovative technologies used to address chlorinated and recalcitrant compounds in the environment, and approaches for characterization, monitoring, and cleanup of complex sites.

​John Kane (CEO/President, Kane Environmental) will be presenting on Combined Remedial Technologies: Electrical Resistance Heating (ERH) Bioremediation Injections and Groundwater Extraction with Activated Carbon Treatment and Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE) and Soil Removal. 

More about the conference: 
The 2022 Chlorinated Conference will feature the largest technical program to date with more than 1,300 platform and poster presentations planned and 6 panel discussions. Attendance is expected to be 1,500-1,700 environmental professionals from approximately 30 countries. More than 100 exhibitors will also be hosted over the length of the program.

​Kane Environmental, Inc. has been issued a single 5 Year, $4 Million Environmental Lab Sampling Services IDIQ Contract (N44255-19-2-6005) award by Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Northwest. 

​Kane Environmental was the incumbent for this solicitation to provide environmental services at nine (9) separate Naval installations and other sites in the Puget Sound and is pleased to continue our partnership with NAVFAC NW under this contract.

Featured in the Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce, an article by John Kane about a new software system from BluHaptics that allows operators to see sunken munitions in 3-D and retrieve them with remotely operated vehicles that provide human touch-like feedback.

​Kane Environmental and Kane Remediation Technologies are working with a Fremont-based robotics software company, BluHaptics, to apply its new software system using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) to identify and remove munitions from the sea floor and to sample remote deep water sediment where human divers cannot go. BluHaptics developed the software that uses data fusion, machine learning and control technology to make ROV operations more efficient. The software works with a wide variety of ROVs, sensors and manipulator arms, which allow for operation in the most challenging conditions, such as high turbidity.
